Hodolog is a travel planner and travel log run by Orangiraffe LLC. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use hodolog.com. By using Hodolog you agree to them. Questions: support@hodolog.com.

Your Account

You must be 16 or older to have an account.
Accounts are by invitation, by a trip's invite link, or by a request an admin approves. Give your real name and an email address you use.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else got in.
One person per account.

Your Content

Your trips, notes, photos and everything else you add stay yours.
You allow us to store, process and show your content only to run Hodolog for you and for the people you choose to share it with. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Add only what you have the right to add. Other people's details (for example the travelers on your trips) are yours to look after: add them only with good reason, and share trips only with people who should see them.

Using Hodolog Fairly

Do not use Hodolog for anything unlawful, to harm others, or to send anyone content they did not ask for.
Do not try to break into, overload, copy in bulk or get around the limits of the site, and do not forward to trips@hodolog.com email that is not yours to forward.
Premium has no fixed limit on the documents and receipts you store. It is meant for your own travel records: if an account stores far more than travel needs, we may contact you, ask you to reduce it, and set a limit or stop new uploads on that account. We will not delete your files without telling you first.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why when we can.
You can report a profile, or a public journal page, from the page itself, and block anyone from their profile. Hodolog's support team reads reports and may remove content or close accounts that break these terms. For anything else, or content you believe infringes your rights, write to support@hodolog.com.

Bookings, Emails and Other Information

Hodolog is not a travel agent. It does not book, change or cancel anything, and it is not connected to airlines, hotels or rental companies.
What Hodolog reads from booking emails, what your own AI assistant returns, flight status links, maps, routes, weather and towns can be wrong or out of date. Always check times, dates and details with the airline, hotel or company before you rely on them.
Links to other sites take you to those sites, under their own terms.

Tours and Tickets From Viator

Where Hodolog shows tours and tickets, they are offered and sold by Viator and its suppliers, not by Hodolog. You book on viator.com, and your booking, payment, cancellation and refund are between you and Viator under its terms. Hodolog is not a party to them and is not responsible for a tour, its price, its availability or its description.
Hodolog may earn a commission if you book through these links. It does not change your price.
The tours, prices, ratings and descriptions come from Viator and can change or be out of date. Check them on Viator before you book.
Viator's content is for your own planning. Do not copy it, collect it in bulk or republish it. If you think something shown through Hodolog infringes your copyright, see the Copyright page.

Your Vault

Travel IDs in your Vault are locked with a key made from your password. If you forget your password, nobody can open them, us included, and they must be typed again.
Add the passports of other people only when you look after them (your children, for example) or they agree.

Free and Paid

Hodolog is free today. If paid plans come, we will say what they cost and what they include before anything is charged, and you choose whether to pay.

Changes and Availability

Hodolog may change, gain or lose features, or be unavailable at times. If we ever close it, we will tell you in advance and give you time to download your data.
If these terms change, we will update the date above and tell you about important changes before they apply.

Responsibility

Hodolog is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, complete or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, Orangiraffe LLC is not responsible for missed flights, bookings, costs or other losses that come from using Hodolog or from information in it, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars, whichever is more.
Nothing here takes away rights you have by law that cannot be waived.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time (Your profile, Settings, Delete my account).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and of the United States.
